ORRIS FUSION™

Orris Fusion™ is a proprietary orris-inspired perfumery material from CPL Aromas’ AromaFusion range, created to express the luxurious powdery character of orris through a broader woody, ambery, violet-like, and subtly fruity profile. Its scent is dry, powdery, softly buttery, woody, and delicately sweet, blending nuances of orris root, violet, cedarwood, pale dry woods, warm amber, and understated fruitiness. Unlike traditional Orris Butter, whose character can be intensely rooty, earthy, fatty, violet-like, and exceptionally costly, Orris Fusion™ presents the idea of orris in a more versatile and diffusive form, extending its powdery floral character through dry woods and amber. CPL specifically describes the material as combining dry woods and cedarwood with orris and amber notes, while adding sweet violet and fruit facets and lifting the surrounding fragrance. The resulting balance of cool violet powder, dry cedar, gentle sweetness, and warm amber gives it an elegant textural quality reminiscent of finely milled iris powder resting on polished pale wood.
