ANTOINE COTTON

Born and raised in Grasse, the perfume capital of France, Antoine Cotton developed a fascination for fragrance from an early age, inspired by visits to scent laboratories and interactions with perfumers who shared their craft and passion. He pursued formal studies at the École Supérieure du Parfum in Paris, followed by internships that led to his role as a junior perfumer at Argeville, where he refined his olfactory skills under the mentorship of experienced professionals.

In a landmark moment for Roja Parfums—where previously only founder Roja Dove was credited—Antoine Cotton joined the house to take an active role in shaping its future creations. In 2025, he debuted three fragrances, including Apex Eau Intense, a vivid chypre with pomelo, rose oxide, salted driftwood, and a chlorophyll accord that evokes lush greenery, and Isola Verde, a sun-soaked, verdant island scent. Working closely under Roja Dove’s mentorship, Cotton represents both an evolution in the brand’s legacy and the emergence of a fresh creative voice in high perfumery.
