CRISTIAN CALABRÒ

Cristian Calabrò is an Italian independent perfumer renowned for his imaginative and emotionally driven creations. His olfactory journey began in 2003 at Cerizza S.p.A., where he honed his technical skills—such as chromatographic and spectrophotometric analyses—before turning toward raw-material exploration and full fragrance composition. Calabrò believes that the three essential criteria for a work of art apply equally to scent: harmony, intensity, and continuity.

His signature style combines unexpected ingredient pairings with structures that draw from music, painting, cinema, and literature. Among his most distinctive works are the creations for The House of Oud—such as White Pearl, Guilty Crush, and L’Explicite—which layer floral, amber-oriental, gourmand and woody accords to evoke emotional landscapes. In each composition, Calabrò not only crafts a scent but invites the wearer into an olfactory narrative—one rooted in sensory memory and artistic metaphor.
