Thorns Become Roses is the second verse of the Rumi Collection, a poetic meditation on contrast, resilience, and emotional transformation. Inspired by the line, “With love, thorns become roses,” the fragrance reflects the belief that what is sharp can soften, what resists can transform, and what wounds can ultimately bloom. Like Petra—the legendary Rose City shifting from blush at dawn to golden fire at noon and deep rose at dusk—this creation unfolds in evolving layers of light and shadow, strength and softness.
The composition opens with radiant lychee and raspberry, sharpened by saffron and cardamom for a luminous, slightly spiced brightness. At its heart, a velvety Bulgarian rose blooms, wrapped in green violet leaf and powdery mimosa—floral yet textured, tender yet resilient. The base anchors the fragrance in amberwood, sandalwood, and patchouli, creating a dry, mineral warmth that lingers with quiet intensity. The result is a fruity–ambery–woody extrait built around a dark, thorny rose—modern, expressive, and enduring.
